Have YOU had cancer?

Do you KNOW someone with cancer?

Hi! My name is Nancy Brown and I'm a nine year cancer survivor.

A long time ago I avoided a friend with cancer because I didn't want to say or do the wrong thing.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Now I'm putting together a book - a guide for people who know someone with cancer. This is a book of ideas and tips for all of us who want to help, but just don't know how. For those of us who say to ourselves:

"What do I say?"
"What do I do?"
"How do I support someone with cancer?"

1. Are you a cancer patient or survivor? Do you want a chance to share what others said and did that helped (and didn't help) you get through your cancer experience? Fill out our questionnaire and let your voice be heard.

No time to fill out the whole questionnaire? Here's a shorter form so you can still tell what was helpful and not helpful for you. Share your story here.
2. Do you know someone with cancer and want some tips about what to say and do? I'll send you this free special report: Ten
Things NOT to Do
When Someone You Know Has Cancer

YES, NANCY! — Please send me your special report - here's my email address.

3. Are you or have you been a support person or caregiver? If you have a story of unique and uplifting ways you supported someone with cancer, then please share your ideas here to help others be even better supporters of someone with cancer.

And just a reminder . . . for all of us who don't want to ask for help, don't want to bother our friends and family when we're dealing with cancer, please consider this:

"Trouble is a part of life, and if you don't share it, you don't give the person who loves you a chance to love you enough."
-Dinah Shore

Thank you so much for your assistance with this project!
